Famous with its meat extracs the Liebig Company was found in the 1865 in South America to take advantage of the low meat prices. They distributed advertizing postcards free of charge to their customers.
These postcards were produced with chromolitography technique and are quite colorful. As it can be seen from the cards they are found in many different languages. The small collection here depicting various scenes from Turkey and Italian-Turkish war in today's Libya (1911-12) can be seen in French, German and Italian.
The company still continues uder the name of Oxo producing bullions among other things.
